We recently attended a seminar on the medical and surgical treatments of obesity hosted by Dr Grant Cracknell and Dr Jason Huang. Dr Cracknell outlined how much physical activity we should be doing- 150minutes per week of low intensity activity or 75minutes per week of high intensity activity. If that seems overwhelming to you then start with ten minutes a day, as Dr Cracknell said “that is ten minutes you didn’t do last week”. Of course, if you have medical conditions see your doctor prior to starting.
