Hello 2019!

2018 was another good year for Family Doctors Plus. The biggest news was the birth of Dr Fiona’s gorgeous baby! Thank you for all your kind wishes for Dr Fiona and her expanding family. Dr Fiona is back at work now and will also be available on some weekends.

Read on for our latest updates as we begin 2019.

On a personal note, our team would like to wish you the best for the year ahead. We are so thankful for your support – it is a privilege to care for you and your families.

New faces

Caitlin has joined our reception team – and if you think she looks familiar, that’s because her sister Mae also works in reception!

We’re also excited to have an experienced local GP joining us in February.

Some new specialists will also be holding consults at Family Doctors Plus. They will work collaboratively with our GPs and make it easier for you to access their services. They are:

  • orthopaedic surgeon Dr David Shooter
  • haematologist Dr Kacey O’Rourke
  • urologist/prostate surgeon Dr Troy Gianduzzo.

They join Dr Andrew Chang (ENT and cochlear surgeon) and Dr Chris Bourke (paediatric surgeon), who already visit regularly.
