I have worked in many different areas of nursing throughout my career and have chosen to come back into the field of General Practice, and am the current nurse team leader at Family Doctors Plus, because I enjoy working with patients and their families.
I have had extensive experience within the surgical field of nursing, including pre-operative, intraoperative and post-operative surgical care. As a result of this I am passionate about wounds and wound care.
I am also passionate about being able to provide holistic patient focused care, resulting in the best possible outcome for the patient. Working within the field of general practice allows me to ensure that I do that.
