Dr Ruchika obtained her medical degree, BSc(Med), MB BS (Hons 1) from UNSW (Sydney) in 2002, and her FRACGP in 2009. She has held various roles in undergraduate and post graduate medical education, including as an Examiner for the RACGP.
In her clinical practice, Dr Ruchika has a special interest in:
- Women’s health: Preconception, pregnancy and post partum care, contraception (including Implanon), cervical screening, menstrual concerns, perimenopause and menopause. She provides maternity shared care with the RBWH.
- Children’s health- babies, infants and children
- Travel medicine, including Yellow fever vaccination
- General medicine
