Leanne Slater

Leanne achieved her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with first class honours in 2008 and she has been working in Women’s Health and continence for over 9 years. Leanne recently moved from Adelaide where she was working in outpatients and inpatients at a maternity hospital and also in private practice with Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Leanne has postgraduate qualifications in Continence and Women’s Health from Curtin University and is continually updating her knowledge in these areas. Leanne is a mother of 2 beautiful children and enjoys regular hiking, yoga, and Pilates along with snow skiing and horse riding if the opportunity arises.

Leanne is passionate about helping people with pelvic health concerns, she is experienced and highly qualified to assess and manage a number of conditions including:

  • Pelvic floor concerns
  • Bladder and bowel conditions including leakage, urgency, and pain
  • Pelvic organ prolapse and pessary use
  • Pelvic pain
  • Sexual dysfunction
  • Pregnancy and postnatal care
  • Gynaecological conditions
  • Pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain
  • Abdominal separation
