Glen Evangelista is a co-owner and commercial manager for Family Doctors Plus, assisting the business with new clinic acquisitions throughout Australia.
Glen is a registered podiatrist who founded Balance Podiatry in 2002, scaling the brand to 11 clinics and shoe stores throughout Queensland, Darwin and Perth. Glen also co-founded iOrthotics, now world leaders in 3D printed custom made orthotics.
In 2016, Balance Podiatry group merged with My FootDr podiatry clinics, creating Australia’s largest podiatry company. In this period through to listing on the ASX (Healthia Limited : HLA) in 2018, Glen was the Chief Operations Officer and Commercial Manager for the group. From 2018 to 2021, Glen was in a fulltime Commercial role acquiring clinics, opening new clinic sites, and managing the leasing portfolio for the podiatry division.
Healthia Limited continues to grow rapidly, now operating over 300 podiatry, physiotherapy, specialist hand therapy, and optometry clinics throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Glen has extensive experience in multi-site allied health service delivery, business and operational management, mergers and acquisitions, commercial tenancy leasing, orthotic manufacturing (including 3D printing), and footwear retailing.
