Dr Nina Sandford

Dr Nina graduated with Bachelor of Clinical Science/Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Flinders University in 2015. She spent her Junior Doctor years in Darwin, initially pursuing Emergency Medicine for a few years prior to moving to Queensland to become a GP. Dr Nina is in her final 6 months of GP training, aiming to complete this in January 2022 and continue working at Family Doctors Plus after this.

Dr Nina’s special interest lies in women’s health, diabetes, and the investigation of undifferentiated medical conditions. She has a Certificate of Emergency Medicine (ACEM), and is also a Mater Hospital Shared Care GP.

Outside of work Dr Nina enjoys Pilates, camping, sewing, and going to the beach.
