Dr Matti committed 4 years to Paediatric training through the Queensland Children’s Hospital where she gained experience working with children of all ages. She was awarded Honours for her Diploma in Child Health qualification. She is able to assist with all areas of child health including newborn and infant care, growth and development, immunisations, constipation, asthma, allergies, eczema, seizures, developmental or learning concerns and general illness and injuries.
Dr Matti is also qualified to provide shared antenatal care in conjunction with hospitals in North Brisbane and enjoys supporting women through their pregnancy, pregnancy planning and postnatal period. Although her special interest is paediatrics, she loves the variety that General Practice brings and welcomes patients of all ages.
Dr Matti has an empathetic and thorough approach. Her favourite aspect of General Practice is being able to develop long term relationships with patients and work collaboratively with patients on all aspects of their health. She is involved in medical education and passionate about staying up to date with the latest evidence.
