Amber is a caring and compassionate GP, who believes that good effective medical care is only possible when patients feel truly listened to, understood and cared for. With her enthusiasm and authenticity, she aims to provide thorough and holistic care.
With more than 20 years working as a doctor, she has experience in antenatal care, paediatrics, women’s health, Implanon insertions and removals, iron infusions, skin excisions, nutrition and all aspects of chronic disease management.
Amber has comprehensive experience in looking after patients with Type 1 Diabetes in both children and adults. She understands the complexity of making adjustments to various aspects of insulin dosing regimes as well as the psychological impacts of this chronic disease.
Prior to medicine, Amber worked in medical research at UQ and QIMR.
Outside of medicine, Amber enjoys playing the piano, long walks on the beach or in a rainforest and spending time with her family.
