Face Masks Policy (12 years of age and over)
Please advise our staff if you or your child are suffering from any COVID 19 (eg respiratory symptoms, fevers, sore throat, cough, loss of sense of smell or taste, diarrhoea) or respiratory symptoms (even if you think it’s not COVID 19). If you have any COVID 19 or respiratory symptoms or fevers we request you book a telephone consultation with your GP. Your GP can organise a referral for a COVID test if needed. Your doctor will give you some instructions if you require a face to face consultation. We request you wear a mask if you have any of the symptoms above and need to enter the practice or if requested by your doctor/health professional if you are 12 years or over. Please let your doctor/health professional if you have any concerns about this request as they may be able to provide a telephone/telehealth appointment instead. This helps us ensure the safety of our patients and staff.
Test Results, Recall & Reminders
Family Doctors Plus requires everyone to make an appointment (face to face, telephone or telehealth) for ALL INVESTIGATION RESULTS, including blood tests and imaging results. This is to ensure we provide you with the most comprehensive medical care. If your results are normal, but your problem persists, you may require further investigations or a referral. It is our policy not to email or fax results due to privacy laws.
We may need to contact you either via SMS, phone, email or mail so it is essential your contact details are up-to-date.
Contacting your doctor/allied health professional
We request you make an appointment if you need to speak with your usual doctor or allied health professional. Please speak with our reception staff who may be able to help with your concerns. We request you make an appointment with your doctor or allied health professional for all clinical queries as our reception staff are not clinically trained.
All requests for paperwork outside an appointment will incur a fee.
