Family Doctors Plus is a family friendly General Practice offering sessions to visiting health professionals including GPs, allied health and other visiting specialists who provide health care to their patients. The focus of the health professionals is on empowering you to optimise your health and take charge of your wellbeing. The experienced and qualified health professionals provide up-to-date evidence-based medicine combined with a holistic approach to nutrition, exercise and clean living. They focus on not only treating disease but on prevention and helping you and your family live as well and as healthily as possible.
The bespoke clinic is doctor owned and was founded by Dr Fiona Raciti and Dr Maria Boulton in 2016. They are passionate about health promotion and hold regular education events for the community. For example, the very popular Puberty Information Sessions which are co-hosted with guest psychologist-Psychequip. The doctors also visit local daycares and schools to provide training on topics such as asthma and anaphylaxis management.
Many of the health professionals are avid fundraisers and hold regular events to raise money for organisations such as the Qld Cancer Council and Beyond Blue.
